Miramar Commissioner Fitzroy Salesman was suspended from office on June 3rd by Governor Jeb Bush, almost a month after being charged with driving under the influence and eluding a police officer .
A special election was held with John Moore being elected and serving in this seat from September 1, 2005 until March 26, 2007, when Salesmen was acquitted on all charges.
