This district is now heavily in play for both parties. This is the last thing the GOP wanted.

Curious. Are the Orthodox Jews in NJ similar to the NYC Orthodox Jews? Will they be reliable votes for the Republicans and possible organizational partners?

I think the sentiment is certainly there. In 2017 thr Lakewood Vaad endorsed Murphy, he narrowly carried Lakewood. Trump won it big twice with the endorsements. In 2009 and 2021 they endorsed Corzine and Murphy however both times they voted for Christie and Ciattarelli. It's going to take a lot to flip the seat but this is a competitive race nonetheless.

I'm surprised Dems asked Harrison to drop out instead of the other guy, maybe they thought that a ticket with a woman on it would be an issue in Lakewood.
