| Description | Conservative party formed out of the National Democratic Party after its dissolution in 1958 (re-formed in 2019). Party quietly allied itself with Juan Perón during the period from 1955 to 1973 when he was exiled and the Peronist Party was outlawed. Party was able to pick up three seats after free elections held in 1973. Party is led by Marco Aurelius Michelli and is a member of the La Libertad Avanza coalition [Partido Conservador Popular (PCP)]. |
