| Description | One-time revolutionary organization known as the Amhara National Democratic Movement (ANDM) supporting the Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF) and the independence of the Tigray region turned moderate-establishment after its merger into the Prosperity Party in 2019. The ADP was led by the current Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister since December 21, 2012, Demeke Mekonnen. Mekonnen served as Chairman of the ADP and also Deputy Chair of EPRDF (the precursor of ANDM),until the dissolution of both parties on December 1, 2019. |
