Center-right, federalist party chaired by 2022 presidential nominee, Senator and son of Ferdinand Marcos Sr., Bong Bong Marcos. Party was founded by attorney and former Agrarian Reform Secretary John Castriciones with the support of Filipino president Rodrigo Duterte (Castriciones departed PFP to join Duterte's PDP-Laban in 2021). The PFP nominated Marcos its presidential candidate on September 2021, selecting Duterte's daughter, Davao City mayor Sara Duterte, as Marcos' running mate. PFP presently controls zero seats in any Filipino legislature and only one governorship, which is held by party president Reynaldo Tamayo Jr., Governor of South Cotabato province [Federal Party of the Philippines (PFP)].
