Description | Minor conservative party initially launched as an election vehicle for former UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon (party called itself at first the 'Pro-Ban Unification Party'). Party leaders changed its name to the 'Economic Patriots' on April 13, 2017 after Ban lost interest, then settled on the 'Korea Economic Party' (KEP) in 2019 to rev up dwindling voter membership.
Party is led by Choi Jong-ho and Lee Eun-jae. |
