Right-wing, nationalist party founded by MPs Tomio Okamura and Radim Fiala. Okamura and Fiala split from the Dawn - National Coalition (a party founded by Okamura) before the party collapsed in red ink (dissolving itself on March 20, 2018), to form at first the "Freedom and Direct Democracy-Tomio Okamura" (the name was changed in July 2019). Party picked up 19 seats in the Chamber of Deputies and has developed support in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. Party has been chaired by Tomio Okamura since August 4, 2015, who has also been Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies since November 24, 2017 [Svoboda a přímá demokracie (SPD)].
