Centrist party founded by two-time presidential candidate Papa Koly Kourouma. Kourouma was one of the prime architects of the election of Alpha Condé as president in 2010, but joined the opposition when he was refused a ministerial position in the new Condé government. GRUP holds one seat in the newly constituted National Council of the Transition [Générations pour la Réconciliation, l’Union et la Prospérité (GRUP)].
