| Description | Populist, Kemalist party led by union organizer and Armenian genocide denier Doğu Perinçek. Perinçek led the Talat Pasha Committee, an organization named after the main perpetrator of the Armenian Genocide and whom Armenians consider the equivalent to Adolf Hitler.
Party began as the Workers' Party (İşçi Partisi) in 1992, rebranding itself Vatan Partisi (VP) in 2015.
Party touts strong relationships with Iran and Syria's Assad and promotes confrontationalism with the US, Israel and Europe. |
