DescriptionConservative Christian-values party launched originally as the Christians, changing its name to "The Christian Party" in 2015. Party was founded in 2011 by Terje Simonsen (1960–2015), and dissidents opposed to the move to the left by the Christian People's Party. The PDK reports on developments against Christian minorities, supports a ban on abortion and same-sex marriage. The PDK has been run by politician and pastor John Erik Selle since 2013. Party by direction of a party congress held on November 5, 2022 decided to dissolve and re-name, re-register itself as "Konservativt" ("Conservative") [Partiet De Kristne (PDK)]
