| Description | Right-of-center 'Fujimorist' party and successor to the Nueva Mayoría, formed by merger with the Alianza por el Futuro, a coalition of four parties allied to, and supportive of, former Peru president Alberto Fujimori (July 28, 1990 to November 21, 2010). Party was established by Alberto Fujimori's daughter, and three-time presidential candidate, Keiko Fujimori. Party is the nation's largest opposition, holding 24 seats in the Peruvian Congress [Fuerza Popular (FP); formerly called Fuerza 2011]. |
