| Description | Right-of-center Berlin-based party active in Bremen State. Party began as the Federal Association of Voters ' Association Citizens in Anger founded by Jan Timke. Association's primary focus was immigration control and preventing local benefits from being reduced by the distribution of Bremen state funds to non-Germans. Party began 2023 with two seats in the Bremischen Bürgerschaft and presented its founding member Piet Leidreiter as its lead candidate for President of Bremen state in elections held on May 14, 2023. Party beat all expectations during the race due to the absence of the AfD, picking up 10 seats. Making much use of its success, party members voted 95% in support of a merger with Bündnis Deutschland on June 9, 2023 with the idea of constituting the Bremen state branch of Bündnis Deutschland [Bürger in Wut; better known by its acronym BIW; Citizens in Anger]. |
