Center-right party formed from a coalition of around 20 opposition parties founded by Jean-Paul Bouiti, who was also its first president. Party is currently led by oft-time presidential candidate Mathias Dzon, former Minister of Finance (1997-2002) of Congo-Brazzaville, and founder of the Patriotic Union for National Renewal (UPRN), the Alliance's largest partner.
