Far left party which observes what it dubs a "Marxism–Leninism–Maoism–Prachanda Path." Party is chaired by Nepal's 33rd Prime Minister, Pushpa Kamal Dahal (nom de guerre 'Prachanda' or 'fierce'). Party dissolved itself on May 17, 2018 in order to properly effect a merger with the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist). Merger became the Nepal Communist Party. After the merged party was declared void and dissolved by Supreme Court order on March 8, 2021, the CPN (Maoist Center) was re-constituted the same day.
