Description | Political nuance created by the French Ministry of the Interior on the occasion of the 2021 regional and departmental elections. Ministry bundles all parties that it considers “Regionalist” ahead of elections for seats in national legislatures. The parties bundled as such ahead of France's National Assembly elections held on the 12th to 19th of June 2022 were the Breton Party (PB) alliance, bringing together Bastir Occitanie, the Lorrain Party, the Basque Nationalist Party (ENJ-PNB), Prouvènço Nacioun, Alternative Alsacienne, Linke Elsass and the Occitan Nation Party, and the Breton Democratic Union (UDB), which presented numerous candidates. The Regionalists also included 3 Polynesian separatist MPs, several DOM TOM MPs, and 3 Corsican MPs. The Regionalists picked up 10 seats in the National Assembly after elections held in 2022 [Régionaliste(DSV)]. |
