DescriptionIslamist, Kurdish-nationalist party affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood also known as Yekgirtû. Party is particularly strong in the Governates of Dohuk and Erbil in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and was implicated in massacres and 'kristallnacht'-like rampages against local Christians and Yezidis in Dohuk and the city of Zakho in 2011. Party was cofounded and is currently led by (since 2016) Salaheddine Bahaaeddin [Yekgirtiya Îslamî ya Kurdistanê]
