| Description | Eclectic party holding far left and far right philosophies. Party adheres to Bulgarian Orthodox Church dogma, displays pro-Russia sympathies and pursues an anti-globalist, anti-Capitalist agenda. Party joined in coalition with other parties ahead of presidential elections in 2016 (placing third in the race). Coalition was registered on September 30, 2016 as the "United Patriots-NFSB, Ataka and VMRO." Ataka was expelled from the coalition on July 25, 2019. Party was founded and is currently led by Volen Siderov. Party is named after Siderov's TV show ATAKA, which means in English "Attack". |
