Center-right party founded by former Rizal Governor Isidro Rodriguez after he broke off from the Nacionalista Party in 1992. Rodriguez, seeking financial backing and a quick start, instantly offered his party's presidential nomination to business tycoon Eduardo "Danding" Cojuangco, who then used the party as his vehicle to further his political aspirations until his death on June 16, 2020. Party continued under a new benefactor, TV personality Tito Sotto, President of the Philippine Senate since May 22, 2018 and 2022 vice presidential candidate. Party president is Giorgidi B. Aggabao.
