Youth-focused violent organization turned party founded by former minister and 2025 presidential candidate, Charles Blé Goudé. Party began as the Pan-African Congress of Young Patriots organization on June 2001. The organization was condemned as a thuggish "youth militia" committing murders and working on behalf of former President Laurent Gbagbo to intimidate voters to support the regime. Party adopted a platform featuring a call to "liberate all political prisoners" when President Laurent Gbagbo, his (now ex) wife Simone Gbagbo, and Charles Blé Goudé himself, went into exile after they were charged with murder and human rights violations. COJEP then changed its name in December 2012 to highlight its evolution from a "pressure group" to a "political movement." Blé Goudé was acquitted of crimes and released from incarceration on November 26, 2022. Party is currently led by Hyacinthe Nogbou [Congrès Panafricain pour la Justice et l’Egalité des Peuples (COJEP)].
