| Description | Center-right Macedonian-nationalist party led by university professor and historian Janko Bachev. Party was founded by Macedonians involved in battling an invasion by Albania through its Kosovo Liberation Army and its newly-formed and localized insurgent group, the Albanian National Liberation Army (NLA), beginning on January 22, 2001. The insurgent group began the invasion by attacking Macedonian security forces (also called the 2001 Insurgency and the Patriotic War). The conflict was ended by the Ohrid Framework Agreement agreement signed on August 13, 2001. Party was a member of the "European Front" coalition formed in 2024 ahead of general elections held on May 8, 2024 and managed to pick up one seat in North Macedonia's Assembly [Народно Движење За Македонија (ND); People's Movement for Macedonia]. |
