Youth focused, literal 'joke party' led and launched by former Soka City Council member Yusuke Kawai, who dresses up like Jim Carrey from "The Mask," paints his face green and calls himself "Joker." Kawai infamously introduced himself as candidate for governor of Tokyo in 2024 dressed as "Joker in drag." Kawai believes these antics will draw disinterested youth and increase voter turnout. Party began as the "[Offcial Political Activity Website] Kawai Yusuke/independent/Getting the Politically Uninterested Interested in Politics!" [ジョーカー議員と投票率を上げる会].
