Conservative party founded by Isfahan's and Tehran's former Police Commander Morteza Talaie and former members of the Principlists Pervasive Coalition (ائتلاف فراگیر اصولگرایان) which dissolved in January 2011. Party identifies with the "principlist' or anti-reformist strain which seeks to preserve the rule of the Islamic jurists and Iran's Supreme Leader. Party backed the 2013 presidential candidacy of Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Iran's Speaker of Parliament since 2020, and again in 2024. Party has been led by Mohammad Saeed Ahadian since 2020 [جمعیت پیشرفت و عدالت ایران اسلامی (JP&EIE)].
