Small center-right party professing a "third way" led and founded in April 2021 by Attila Szabó. Party gained sudden prominence in 2024 when former Fidesz member, Viktor Orbán critic and rising star Péter Magyar joined it on April 10, 2024. His entrance automatically established the party's de facto foundation date to the same day. Magyar's popular and numerous national rallies condemning corruption and the "mafia state" had earned enough notice to force the creation on March 28, 2024 of a new coalition of three major parties, called the DK–MSZP–Dialogue Party Alliance (DK–MSZP–Párbeszéd pártszövetség). Coalition was formed with the express purpose of countering Magyar and his movement [TISZA – Tisztelet és Szabadság Párt (TISZA)].
