| Description | Center-right nationalist party alleged to have links to the US military founded and led by Cambodian-American musician and politician Daran Kravanh. Party opposed and sought efforts to combat violations of Cambodia's sovereignty by Vietnam and the 'creeping' control of Cambodian institutions by China. Party had as its main theme pulling Cambodians out from extreme poverty (at the time, Cambodia was one of poorest nations in the world). Party leader Kravanth claimed to be able collect millions in aid from "13 wealthy American investors" that he would dole out if he were Prime Minister. Party also wanted to establish ministries that would mandate job security for the veterans (and their families) disabled during the Indochina wars [គណបក្សខ្មែរឈប់ក្រ]. |
