DescriptionCenter-right party espousing Catholic social teaching (CST), which are doctrines concerning matters of human dignity laid by Pope Leo XIII's 1891 encyclical letter Rerum novarum. Party began as the Unión Popular founded by former ministers of Juan Perón led by his foreign minister Juan Atilio Bramuglia who were displaced by the 1955 military coup. Eduardo Duhalde used the Unión Popular as a vehicle for his presidential ambitions in 2011. Party is a member of the Juntos por el Cambio alliance and is led by Grace Devita [Unión Popular Federal (UPF)].
