Government agreement with a low-level insurgency led by Pasteur Ntumi. Six representatives are automatically granted seats in the Congo-Brazzaville Senate as one of the conditions establishing peace with rebels in the Pool region (Mpumbu, Nsundi, Mbula Ntangu), which is a department of the Republic of the Congo located in the southeast. Agreement was signed by the Interior Ministry security advisor François Ndé and Pastor Ntumi’s representative, Jean Gustave Ntondo [Représentants de la région du Pool (RRP)].
