| Description | Right-of-center party also called the League of Freedom launched ahead of general elections planned for the Spring of 2023. Party opposes Finland's entry into NATO and seeks to maintain Finland's reputation as non-aligned. Party founders split from the pro-Russia "Power Belongs to the People" party (VKK) after undisclosed disagreements with its leader, Ano Turtiainen. Alliance joined forces with Finland's Crystal Party and the People's First of Finland party on July 22, 2022 to form an electoral coalition ahead of elections planned in 2023. Freedom Alliance is chaired by Ossi Tiihonen [Vapauden Liitto (VL)]. |
