| Description | Center-right "technocratic" movement co-founded by former Finance and Social Welfare Minister Milojko Spajić and former Economy Minister Jakov Milatović. Movement sought to emulate the success and sudden rise of Bulgaria's "We Continue the Change" party, also launched by former finance ministers and economists in Bulgaria on April 15, 2022. Movement supports a 'basic' salary of 1,000 euros, a minimum pension of 450 euros and a zero unemployment rate, and contends that further integration within the European Union will force corruption out of Montenegro. Movement partnered with the Peace is Our Nation (MjNN) movement in late 2022. Co-Chair Jakov Milatović became Montenegro's fourth President on May 20, 2023 after winning a presidential run-off on April 2, 2023. He subsequently broke away from the party on February 24, 2024 after a dispute with co-chair Spajić and formed his own party [Покрет Европа сад; Pokret Evropa Sad! (PES!)]. |
