| Description | Conservative, Algerian-nationalist "anti" party led by former Algerian National Front leader, Lamine Osmani. Osmani contends that the concept of the political party, as presently understood, is built only to assist ambitious, self-serving individuals who need barriers between them and the people they cynically "represent." Osmani identifies his party as merely a "vehicle" (أداة غريبة; literally translated as "contraption") forced on him by established traditions, and his efforts as "independent" and "anti-establishment." Party does not have a political program. Party holds three seats in the 407-seat National People's Assembly ["Sawt echaab" or Le Parti Voix du peuple (PVP); حزب صوت الشعب]. |
