Center-left party founded by ex Bulgarian Socialist Party members led by 8th Dobrich multi-member constituency MP Krasimir Yankov. Party was initially launched by sociologist and founder of the UDF Petko Simeonov as the Bulgarian Liberal Party, changing its name on November 21, 2020 at its 9th regular congress. Party joined the "Left Union for a Clean and Holy Republic" coalition in July 2021 [Българска Прогресивна Линия (BPL)].
