Description | The 1st District covers the northern part of Kitsap County, including Bainbridge Island, and parts of King and Snohomish counties.
Challenging U.S. Rep. Jay Inslee in September's primary election will be Mike the Mover, in his 13th campaign. The unlucky number doesn't faze him.
"I've lost all the rest of them, so it can't be any worse," the Mover said.
Mike the Mover — who had his name legally changed to the unusual moniker — has appeared on ballots for a wide array of offices, from governor to Seattle mayor to commissioner of public lands. The Lynnwood moving company owner isn't considered a threat to two-term incumbent Inslee in the Democratic primary Sept. 17 for the 1st District congressional race.
