| Description | Term-limited Republican Gov. Mike Foster said Friday that he will not challenge incumbent Democratic Sen. Mary Landrieu this fall.
Foster instead endorsed GOP Rep. John Cooksey in the race and said he wasn't running because he felt a duty to serve the rest of his second and final term as governor. |
