DescriptionThere's no written record of state Sen. Martha Bark's counseling sessions at Burlington County Institute of Technology, because of their "confidential nature," officials said Monday.

Walt Rudder, the district's superintendent, and Alan Schmoll, its attorney, made the assertion in response to requests from the Courier-Post for documentation of the work Bark performed in 2002 and 2003, for which she was paid $50,000 a year.

The job description for the position, however, specifies that the holder is to "maintain confidential records on each participant."
