Description | Former Vice President Dick Cheney took aim at President Obama's national security record in a late Monday statement.
"If President Obama were participating in his intelligence briefings on a regular basis then perhaps he would understand why people are so offended at his efforts to take sole credit for the killing of Osama bin Laden," Cheney told the Daily Caller in a statement.
A conservative group reported that Obama did not hold a daily intelligence briefing more than 50 percent of the time — prompting accusations that he is not taking national security serious. White House press secretary Jay Carney called the report "hilarious" and noted that Obama is briefed every day either by memo or in person. |
