Description"Anthony Gemma said Wednesday that if he loses his Democratic Congressional primary against incumbent David Cicilline, he would write in his own name, rather than vote for Cicilline or Republican Brendan Doherty.

Gemma, speaking on WPRO-AM's "Buddy Cianci Show," also declined to endorse the other Democrats running for federal office -- Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse and Rep.Jim Langevin.

"I'm not taking a stand in anybody else's race," he said, adding he was "frustrated" that Whitehouse "has not stepped up and done what's right for me. And his constituents are telling him in droves that I am the right candidate."

Both Whitehouse and Langevin support Cicilline, who also won the party's endorsement.

"At least they should have remained neutral in the race," Gemma said."
