Description | Republican gubernatorial nominee David Williams plans to proceed without a campaign manager for the remaining three months of general election campaign, he told Pure Politics in a interview.
Williams, who is also the state Senate president, lost campaign manager Luke Marchant last week because Marchant wanted to pursue other opportunities, according to Williams’ campaign.
Williams said he was “pleased” with a managerial team he has in place for his campaign. Several well-known Kentucky Republican consultants have been on the campaign’s payroll, including Scott Jennings and Vincent Fields.
Other prominent Republicans, including GOP Chairman Steve Robertson retired Adjutant General Donald Storm and Todd Inman of Owensboro, have been advising the campaign as well. |
