Description | It's no joke.
District-shopping U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich will return to Seattle on July 9 to speak to a conference of progressive activists -- at a comedy club in Pioneer Square.
That's according to the Northwest Progressive Institute, which is organizing the 2011 NW Roots Conference at The Comedy Underground.
Other speakers will include Congressmen Jim McDermott and Jay Inslee, Washington State Labor Council President Jeff Johnson and former Canadian Health Minister Ujjal Dosanjh, according to NPI. |
