Description | The FINANCIAL -- BRUSSELS. Some 10,000 people celebrated on February 17 Belgium's world record in the city of Ghent for facing the longest political crisis, RIA Novosti informs.
Belgium has been without a government for 249 days as the politicians from the country's Dutch- and French-speaking regions have so far failed to come to a consensus since elections on June 13, 2010.
Belgians staged a huge party where some young participants stripped down to their underwear to draw attention to the political crisis and mark the occasion. |
