| Description | Doug Head, a Republican who was Minnesota's attorney general in the late 1960s and ran for governor in 1970, died Wednesday night. He was 80.
Head served in the state House in the early 1960s, before winning statewide election as attorney general. His bid for governor ended in defeat to Wendell Anderson. |
