| Description | ALBANY, N.Y. — Former New York Assemblyman Anthony Seminerio of Queens has died in prison while serving time on a corruption charge. He was 75 years old.
The Democrat pleaded guilty in 2009 to defrauding his Queens constituents of what the law calls honest services. Prosecutors say he collected $1 million in consulting fees by leveraging the influence of his state Assembly job. |
