SPRINGFIELD -- Mike Boland is an unhappy man.
It seems he's upset with the process the Democratic Party is using to fill the vacancy its on the ballot for lieutenant governor.
Boland came in fourth in a field of six candidates seeking the Democratic nomination for lieutenant governor.
They all lost to a fellow named Scott Lee Cohen who was accused by his former girlfriend -- a convicted prostitute -- of threatening her with a knife. His ex-wife accused him in divorce documents of being a steroid abuser and a deadbeat dad who was behind on child support. (But he had a couple of million to run for lieutenant governor.) |
