Description | Tokyo - The approval rating for Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama's Cabinet declined to 41 per cent, down 3 percentage points from a month earlier, major daily Yomiuri's survey said Monday.
The Cabinet's disapproval rating rose by 3 percentage points to 50 per cent, the paper said.
Many Japanese people's disappointment with Prime Minister Hatoyama's Cabinet was also seen in a Kyodo News poll conducted Sunday. The approval rating for the Cabinet fell to 36.3 per cent, the lowest level since the Cabinet was inaugurated September, when it enjoyed a support rate of 72 per cent, Kyodo News said. |
