Sen. Joe Seng admitted to Des Moines hospital Friday

| Description | Sen. Joe Seng admitted to Des Moines hospital Friday
Iowa Sen. Joseph M. Seng, D-Davenport, was admitted Friday to Mercy Medical Center, Des Moines, hospital spokesman Gregg Lagan said.
While Lagan could not say why Seng was admitted due to privacy laws, he did say that the 63-year-old Seng was in good condition.
Seng is currently serving his second term in the Iowa Senate. He represents Senate District 43, which includes Davenport. He is currently a veterinarian in Davenport.
