| Description | COLUMBIA, S.C. -- The Republican leadership of the South Carolina House called for Gov. Mark Sanford to resign in a letter hand delivered to Sanford on Wednesday.
The letter, signed by Majority Leader Kenny Bingham on behalf of the House Republican Caucus leadership, called for Sanford to step down “for the good of our state.”
At the time the letter was delivered, 60 members of the GOP Caucus had signed it. |
