The 11th District congressman told PoliticsNJ.com late last week that he has closed the door on a prospective '05 bid and is instead committed to working his way through the seniority system of the U.S. House.
"I'm not thinking about it, but I've certainly had quite a few people come up to me and ask me to run," Frelinghuysen said from Washington last Thursday. "But I certainly enjoy working (here) for the people of New Jersey...I have a fantastic committee assignment and there's a lot I can do for the state from that position.""
