Mr. Hansen's distinguished background included degrees from Princeton University and the University of Virginia School of Law. Admitted to the New York Bar in 1966, he was a former member of the New York Legislature and served as special assistant to the undersecretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
