DescriptionA shadow cabinet member has been left red-faced and forced to apologise after links to a raunchy sex website were sent to friends and colleagues via his Facebook profile.

Conservative Bill Wiggin, Shadow Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries, found hackers had used his personal webpage to invite people to view free webcams.

The 42-year-old MP for Leominster, Herefordshire, who is married and has three young children, has now deleted his social networking site to avoid any future embarrassment.

'I don't want to be involved in a sex scandal,' said Mr Wiggin.

'It's a shame I've had to deactivate my account because it's a nice way of keeping in touch with people.
