Description | Plaid Cymru's parliamentary leader, the Meirionnydd and Nant Conwy MP Elfyn Llwyd, has lost his driving licence for a month after admitting speeding.
Mr Llwyd pleaded guilty at Caernarfon Magistrates' Court to exceeding the 60mph limit on the A487 near Dolgellau, Gwynedd.
The prosecution said police spotted Mr Llwyd travelling at 101mph.
In addition to a 28-day ban, the politician was ordered to pay £675 in fines and costs.
The court was told that Mr Llwyd was stopped in his Mercedes car just south of Dolgellau in July last year.
