| Description | On the threshold of the balloting, county Controller Dan Onorato maintains a strong lead over incumbent Republican Jim Roddey in the race for county chief executive.
The Democrat was the choice of 50 percent of those surveyed late last week in a new Pennsylvania Poll, compared with 41 percent for Roddey and 9 percent undecided. The findings suggested that the campaign had settled into a relatively static pattern. |
