| Description | Republican Steve McDonald will no longer ask the local GOP to back his bid for state Senate, although he intends to campaign all the way to the April 22 primary.
"I'm not seeking the endorsement," McDonald said during a telephone interview. "That's the only comment I have."
McDonald, the current Lancaster County recorder of deeds, informed local GOP leadership in an e-mail that did not shed any light onto why he decided to withdraw from the endorsement process. |
